$12.5M in Funding for Statewide Projects Co-Sponsored by State Rep. Daisy Morales Gets Final Budget Approval

ORLANDO, Fla. – State Representative Daisy Morales (D-Orlando) announced today $12.5 million in appropriations projects that she co-sponsored has cleared the governor’s veto pen.

Rep. Morales has worked with several of the organizations receiving funding and values their impact on Florida communities, including the UCF School of Nursing, Goodwill Industries, and Farm Share, with whom she has partnered to feed thousands of Florida families.

The UCF School of Nursing provided volunteer nurses to administer COVID-19 vaccinations in the beginning of the pandemic. Rep. Morales recognized Goodwill Industries for assisting her in providing clothing to families in the community. Morales’s partnership with Farm Share goes back to her time as Orange Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor, feeding thousands of families.


The funding supplies 14 projects across the state:
