Orange County COVID-19 Update: A Turning Point for Vaccinations
ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN) – This week brings about a turning point for Orange County as some residents have already been vaccinated. Mayor Jerry Demings wants the public to know that county officials continue to prepare in this battle against the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
There have been 66,306 positive cases here in Orange County since its inception and 697 people who have died from it. Although there are not enough vaccines to go around right now, the Orange County Health Department has been preparing teams of nurses, paramedics, clinical staff, and firefighters to administer the vaccine once it becomes more readily available.
