ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – This fall, Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights will introduce a spine-chilling new haunted house inspired by the Insidious film franchise. Titled “Insidious: The Further,” this attraction will debut on August 30, 2024, at Universal Orlando Resort and on September 5, 2024, at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Journey into The Further

Produced by Blumhouse Productions in association with Sony Pictures, the Insidious franchise follows the Lambert family, who are plagued by malevolent supernatural forces after their son slips into a comatose state and becomes possessed. In the new haunted house, guests will step into the eerie world of “The Further,” an ethereal realm where ghosts and demons reside.

As visitors pass through the iconic red door, they will face a series of terrifying encounters with the franchise’s most notorious entities. These include:

  • The Red-Faced Demon: Attempting to lure guests into his lair.
  • KeyFace: Seeking to trap victims in the dark dimension.
  • Bride in Black: A dangerous and ghastly presence.
  • The Man Who Can’t Breathe: A vengeful spirit.

Guests must navigate from one red door to another, trying to evade these sinister creatures in a dark and timeless astral world, or risk having their souls trapped forever.
