ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN) – Congresswoman Val Demings (D-09) and State Rep. Daisy Morales (D-Orlando) joined the community and family in celebrating the life of Dr. Tim Adams Saturday. Other special guests included community leader and philanthropist Dick Batchelor.

Dr. Adams, an Air Force veteran and former Orange Soil & Water Conservation District Chairman, passed away on April 22, 2021. Congresswoman Demings and State Rep. Morales delivered remarks at his funeral at Greenwood Cemetery.

As an Air Force veteran, Dr. Adams received military honors during his funeral, including the playing of “Taps”, a U.S. flag draped over his casket, and the folded U.S. flag presented to his family.
