JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (FLORIDA SPORTS CHANNEL) — The Jacksonville Jaguars (9–4) defeated the Indianapolis Colts (8–5) 36–19 on a rainy, overcast afternoon at EverBank Stadium, securing their 11th consecutive home victory over Indianapolis.

Strong Start Fuels Jaguars’ First-Half Push
Jacksonville struck first when RB Travis Etienne Jr. capped a short scoring drive with a 3-yard touchdown run, set up by LB Devin Lloyd’s interception of Colts QB Daniel Jones. Kicker Cam Little added the extra point for a 7–0 lead. Indianapolis responded with a 1-yard touchdown by RB Jonathan Taylor to even the score.
The Jaguars answered quickly. QB Trevor Lawrence connected with WR Jakobi Meyers on a 14-yard touchdown pass, putting Jacksonville back on top. Late in the first quarter, Colts quarterback Daniel Jones left the game with an Achilles injury after slipping on the wet turf. Rookie Riley Leonard entered in relief as Jacksonville ended the quarter ahead 14–7.
The Jaguars extended the lead early in the second quarter after CB Jarrian Jones recovered a Jonathan Taylor fumble. Etienne scored on the very next play with a 28-yard touchdown run. Indianapolis inched closer with a 28-yard field goal by K Blake Grupe, but Lawrence expanded the lead before halftime, finding WR Tim Patrick for an 8-yard touchdown. Jacksonville entered the break leading 28–10.
Jacksonville Maintains Control in the Second Half
The Colts opened the third quarter with a 36-yard field goal, but could not generate sustained momentum. Jacksonville kept a steady grip on the game, heading into the fourth quarter up 28–13.
Early in the final quarter, Cam Little connected from 35 yards out. Moments later, DE Josh Hines-Allen sacked Riley Leonard in the end zone for a safety. The Jaguars converted the ensuing possession into points, with Little adding a 48-yard field goal to extend the lead to 36–13.
Indianapolis briefly threatened late when a touchdown pass from Leonard to WR Alec Pierce was overturned. Leonard later scored on a 6-yard run, but the two-point conversion failed, sealing the Jaguars’ 36–19 victory.
Standout Performances and Milestones
Lawrence finished with 244 passing yards and two touchdowns. Etienne led the rushing attack with 74 yards and two scores, while Brian Thomas Jr. posted a team-high 87 receiving yards. Attendance was 60,067.
A major milestone came from LB Foye Oluokun, who reached 100 total tackles for the sixth consecutive season — making him one of only six active NFL players to record 100+ tackles every year from 2020 through 2024.
The Jaguars host the New York Jets next Sunday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. Jacksonville then embarks on a two-game road stretch against Denver and Indianapolis before returning home to close the season against the Tennessee Titans.
