CFHLA Announces Newly Elected 2023 Executive Committee and Board of Directors
ORLANDO, Fla. (January 4, 2023) – The Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association (CFHLA) has announced its newly elected 2023 CFHLA Executive Committee and Board of Directors, which includes Central Florida Hospitality Executives from across the tri-county area (Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties).
The following Board members were elected to serve on the 2023 CFHLA Executive Committee, beginning January 1, 2023: Anthony Lazzara, General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Orlando – Universal Blvd., Chair of the Board; Jeff Swirsky, General Manager of the Delta Marriott Hotel Orlando Celebration, 1st Vice Chair; Jorg Heyer, Area General Manager of Sheraton Vistana Resort, 2nd Vice Chair; Barbara Bowden, Area Managing Director of Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando, Secretary; Chris Mueller, General Manager of the Hilton Orlando, Treasurer; Jay Leonard, General Manager of the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort Disney Springs Resort Area/Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area, Assistant Treasurer; and Jesse Martinez, General Manager of The Alfond Inn at Rollins, Historian. Lazzara succeeds Sonja Giselbrecht, the current General Manager of Marriott’s Cypress Harbour, who has served as Chair for the past year and becomes the Immediate Past Chair.
Additionally, the CFHLA Board of Directors is made up of leaders from all sectors of the hospitality industry, including hotels, vacation ownership members, management companies, independent hotels, and allied members who do business with the hospitality industry.
