Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks Travels to United Kingdom

Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks departs today for the United Kingdom on a three-day trip.
At RAF Lakenheath, Deputy Secretary Hicks will tour infrastructure improvements designed to improve base resilience and see demonstrations of U.S. capabilities.
In London, she will brief UK counterparts on the Department’s “Replicator Initiative,” meet with Secretary of State for Defence Grant Shapps, and participate in the bi-annual U.S.-UK defense dialogue.
During the dialogue, led by Deputy Secretary Hicks and Permanent Under Secretary for Defence David Williams, US and UK officials will discuss a broad range of bilateral interests and areas of defense cooperation.
