Dr. Rudolph Moise makes history as Dade County Medical Association first Haitian American president

MIAMI, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – The Dade County Medical Association (DCMA) elected new executive committee members and Dr. Rudolph “Rudy” Moise made history by becoming the first Haitian American to serve as president of the association.
The Dade County Medical Association was founded in 1903 making it the oldest medicial association in Florida.
“It is a great honor to lead this prestigious organization of medical professionals in Miami Dade County,” Dr. Rudolph Moise said in a statement posted on his Facebook page. “I am also privilege to be the first Haitian American in the 117 year history of this organization to hold that position,” he added.
He said he would strive to maintain the ethics of the medical profession by promoting the public health and welfare. I shall dedicate myself and my office to improve the health standards of the people of Florida, particularly in this Covid-19 pandemic.
