First Lady Jill Biden to Travel to Georgia and Pennsylvania for Workforce Hub Tour

On Wednesday, November 8th, First Lady Jill Biden will travel to Investing in America Workforce Hub cities in Georgia and Pennsylvania to highlight how the President’s Bidenomics agenda is delivering investments and jobs to communities across the country.

During her visits, the First Lady will meet with local officials and key stakeholders leading the Workforce Hubs to discuss ways the local community is working together to expand pathways to good-paying jobs. In Pittsburgh, the First Lady will be joined by Acting U.S. Secretary of Labor Julie Su.

GEORGIA
At 10:00 AM, the First Lady will arrive at Augusta Regional Airport in Augusta, GA. This arrival will be open press.

At 11:00 AM, the First Lady will visit the Investing in America Workforce Hub in Augusta, GA to participate in a Workforce Hub convening and highlight commitments and initiatives led by Mayor Garnett L. Johnson, in conjunction with the City of Augusta, Augusta Technical College, Aiken Technical College, Richmond County School System, local employers, trade unions, and other community partners.

PENNSYLVANIA
At 1:30 PM, the First Lady will arrive at Allegheny County Airport in Pittsburgh, PA. This arrival will be open press.

At 2:15 PM, the First Lady and Acting Secretary Su will visit the Investing in America Workforce Hub in Pittsburgh, PA to participate in a Workforce Hub convening and highlight commitments and initiatives led by Mayor Edward C. Gainey, in conjunction with the City of Pittsburgh, Partner4Work, local employers, educational institutions, unions, and community partners.
