FNN News Network Names Janira Vazquez Garcia Assistant Editor for FNN News en Español

ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – FNN News Network announced Janira Vazquez Garcia as its new Assistant Editor for FNN News en Español Tuesday, effective immediately.
Garcia will be working closely with Content Coordinator Juan Carlo Rodríguez and the FNN News en Español team to ramp up the network’s content on the FNN News website and across social media. Additionally, she’ll be helping to recruit new members to the FNN News en Español team, which is currently a team of ten (she already has two people in mind). She’ll also be working closely with FNN News Network Managing Director Mellissa Thomas to share the team’s needs and coverage plans while forging its greater vision to move forward.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Orlando, Florida, Janira Vazquez Garcia has dedicated her life to working and educating the youth of Central Florida. Her passion with working with children came at a very young age and was greatly due to the educators in her life that instilled in her a love for learning. She has a deep passion for the arts and sports, having taught TV productions and becoming an assistant coach for a youth soccer team. She enjoys motivating the youth to succeed and was invited to speak in a prison ministry where she gave her testimony and encouraged them to not give up on their dreams.
In 2021 Garcia created a brand for kids called Open Mouth Fish, which she is currently developing, and in 2022 she was invited to cover the prestigious 2021 Don Quijote Awards for FNN News en Español, eventually becoming a reporter for the organization. She enjoys the outdoors with her two daughters, who are active in the arts and sports.
