US Congressman Bill Posey Endorsed Randy Fine For State Senate

Melbourne Beach, FL (May 6, 2024) – Today, retiring Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) announced his endorsement of State Representative Fine (R-Melbourne Beach) for State Senate, District 19. The entirety of the Senate district lies within Congressman Posey’s district.

“I am especially pleased to endorse Representative Randy Fine in his campaign for the Florida Senate because of his interest, knowledge, and continuing support of Activity-Based Total Accountability,” said Posey.  “Taxpayers are best served by representatives with not only the willingness, but the demonstrated ability, to demand transparency and accountability of government resources like Randy Fine has.”

“I am deeply humbled by Congressman Posey’s endorsement,” said Fine.  “Congressman Posey has been a friend and mentor since I first declared for office, and our community could have had no better conservative champion fighting for us in Congress.   I am ever mindful that Congressman Posey once held the Senate seat I am running for; I hope to be worthy of that conservative legacy.”

Fine has previously announced he had exceeded $1.5 million cash on hand between his State Senate Campaign and his Friends of Randy Fine Political Committee.   Fine’s financial support is matched not only by the endorsement of President Donald J. Trump, but also by endorsements from U.S. Senator Rick Scott, Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson, State Senator and Republican National Committeeman Joe Gruters, State Senator Erin Grall, fellow Brevard State Representatives Thad Altman, Robbie Brackett, and Chase Tramont, neighboring Volusia Representative Webster Barnaby, Brevard County’s conservative School Board Majority, Chairwoman Megan Wright and Members Matt Susin and Gene Trent, Port Canaveral Commissioner Wayne Justice and former Commissioner Tom Weinberg, and former Senate President from Brevard Mike Haridopolos.   The International Union of Police Associations, Florida Family Action, Faith and Freedom Coalition, and the Florida Professional Firefighters have also given early endorsements.
