“I’m proud of what my staff and I have already achieved in the first 100 days and we’re just getting started,” said Representative Morales. “From introducing legislation to help small businesses and our special needs population to protecting our people against the deadly COVID-19 virus with vaccination clinics, we’re working hard to deliver results for the people of District 48 who chose me to represent them in Tallahassee.”

In 100 days, Rep. Morales and her staff communicated with over one hundred District 48 residents, helped connect 25 constituents with state agencies to receive much needed resources, provided free food distribution to over 1,500 residents in need, and held events to help 1,000 residents get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Representative Morales has introduced seven bills, including legislation to help barbers offer mobile services, to limit unwanted robocalls, help free underserved students in the reduced lunch program from shame and hunger, and empower the special needs community by expanding the state’s definition of disability to increase their access to key medical services. She has also cosponsored 11 bills, and introduced eight appropriations projects in an effort to bring approximately $2 million in funding to small businesses in District 48.
